A Smile
A smile is like a beam of light
For it can piece the deepest plight
A smile is like a wave so slight
Yet it can make the eyes so bright
A smile is like a crescent moon at night
But it will bring the heart a warm delight
A smile is like a funny joke
But it can bring a spark of hope
A smile I send to you
A smile returned by you
Can lift you up to heights
Way beyond your reach
Smile!

I dare you to pursue your dreams,

the attitude you portray

I dare you to care
For folks

And he cried with my brother and me
Hoping she would come home any day
And wanting things
