Osama bin Muhammad bin 'Awad bin Laden to give him his full title, is a friendly, soft-spoken and personable man from Saudi Arabia. That having been said, he has also orchestrated numerous terrorist attacks worldwide, including the destruction of the World Trade Centre in 2001, and is also credited with founding the terrorist organisation Al-Qaeda. He is a mass murderer.

And yet, I have immense respect for him. While Saddam Hussein was caught cowering in a fox hole after a few days, Bin Laden is still at large, believed to be hiding somewhere in the Tora Bora mountain range in Afghanistan. But in truth nobody knows, and he is on the FBIs most wanted list. I expect you'd get quite a decent reward if you spotted him strolling down the street and rugby tackled him.

Despite the fact that he is rather old, relying on a cane to get around, he has cheated the best minds the world can throw at him, and still causes our troops serious trouble fighting for the mountains in Afghanistan. He fights for what he believes in, and fights hard.

So I don't like him, or condone what he does, and I don't for a moment believe that the world wouldn't be better off without him, but he is a great man nonetheless.

And he has a cool beard.
