How you can donate to charity by visiting websites

Imagine you are on the Internet. On one tab is your social networking and on another you are searching the web. Still others have you learning new vocabulary, studying a different language, playing games; and the list goes on. Did you know that you can help charities at the same time that you multi-task online?

1. Change for clicks.

There are many sites that will donate money to charity in exchange for your clicks. There are sites that will donate money every time you use their search engine. A social networking site called “Social Vibe” will give you points every time a friend does an activity from a sponsor; these points can then be converted to perks.

2. Sites rely on advertising dollars to fund charities.

How do these sites donate money to charity? Just like any other site, they rely on advertising to generate revenue. The difference is that these sites use advertising revenue to help charities. There might be an ad on the site while you search, or you may need to complete an activity to earn points for a particular charity.

3. Everything you do online can benefit a charity.

What do you do online? Check your email? Social networking? Searching, studying and learning? With charitable sites you can do all of the above while helping worthwhile causes at the same time. Social vibe allows you to post your status, visit forums, answer a daily question and complete activities to help the charity of your choice. Charities include those such as Stand Up 2 Cancer, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Invisible Children and more.

4. Games and trivia for charity.

Sites such as Free Rice, Free Flour, Free Kibble, and Free Kibblekat reqrire you to answer questions or trivia; for each correct answer an amount of food isgiven to help. There are also games that can be played that help charities like Help Thirst, Charitii, and Free Poverty.

5. Search engines for charity.

Another way you can help charities is by using search engines that give their profits to charity like Helpuu and Search Kindly. There are also sites that turn your clicks into money to help charity like the Hunger Site, the Breast Cancer Site, and the Rainforest Site.

Now that you have an idea of the charitable sites that exist, spend a little time exploring and find out how you can help. You might be surprised at the number of options available for donating through tasks you are already doing online. Charitable giving really is no more than a click away.
