Peacock
He’s all pimped out in his Stacy Adams boots
and his expensive Armani suit.
He drives to work in a late-model Jag,
but can’t repay the money he owes
to the secretary he yells at daily,..
Twenty bucks he borrowed to place on a losing bet.
(He never gets his football picks right.)
But make no mistake,
he’s the Head Negro in Charge,
He won’t let you forget
as he struts across the schoolyard
that this is HIS school, and
You work for HIM.
He’s an ass!

and attitude
blended to a
fine inner gauge.

You see the world as yours to rule,
You see yourself as a precious jewel,
You see others as your tools for success,
You don't
They think only of themselves,
Like empty vessels that make the most noise,
Wanting everyone to know how great they are,
