Let me first provide the background...
I was raised by a single mother who really wasn't home too much. She often worked two jobs and went to school full time. I started running away from home when I was 15. I moved out completely when I was 16. I also dropped out of high school at 16. I was a very "rebellious" child and lived on the "edge." I destroyed everything I touched. I became caught up in the life of partying, drinking, drugs, crime, etc. I won't go into detail, but I truly am fortunate to be alive today!
Somehow, at around the age of 25, I began turning my life around.
In less than ten years, I have accomplished...
1) Obtaining a GREAT job, and holding it for almost 10 years!
2) Building my own home!
3) Raising 4 beautiful, smart and talented children.
4) Returning to school with the hopes of eventually obtaining a law degree, maintaining a near perfect GPA, and working full time and STILL being able to spend quality time with my children!
5) I recently became determined to lose my "baby weight" after several years and lost 70 lbs!
6) Taking responsibility for my own life and turning failure into success!
The bottom line is.... Anyone can have and do anything they want to do, but you've got to set a goal and commit to achieving it. Then you've got to work your ass off! You only accomplish as much as you try to accomplish!
