The flower died...
The storms did shake
and the earth did quake
all because the beautiful flower died...
her mother left her,
her father never was,
and her brother abused her.
But now she is safe from harm,
safe from her unending sorrow
for now our summer rose has shed her petals,
our summer rose is dead.
her white dress stained scarlet,
her blue eyes now dull gray...
because her butcher knife found its way,
nevermore will our summer rose
twirl, dance and sway!
