With breathing unsteady
By pants, I walked up the hill
And watched as the wind streamed
Pass my face, my clothes holding me tight.
Then I saw a bird shoot out
Where it came from I didn't realize
How near or far it must have come
With wings so long and high.
Yet, tonight my heart mourns
My eyes burning from the visions
I cannot decide between right
Or wrong that takes my mind.
So I climb and climb until
I cannot move my limbs
No more of the feeling inside
These dark moments come alive.

Poetry: Dark moments

She nearly broke down and cried
Composing herself for her early morning appointment

You're gone and I'm alone,

And burns on the surface of my skin.
Visible to all it must surely be,
Held
