Essays: Truth

Truth defined - actual account of an event as occurred, either spoken, scene, heard, done or about to do so, in singular form or in combination with one another. Solid truth is a fact, not a feeling. Some form of truth in-lies within everyone. To represent truth correctly, is a decision that lies under, individual freewill, and judgment.

Truth used incorrectly involves wanted truth, and imagined truth. People at some point want to see, or hear events incorrectly to serve their own or someone else's purpose. Imagined truths are mainly harmless dreams of themselves, someone, something or event that fills a desire. The dark side of imagined truth only fills someone's selfish purposes and desire's, in which we define as lies.

The toughest on going debate concerning truth, is proper use for a given situation. As daily situations arise, we have to ask ourselves constantly, "Should I say the truth and hurt someone's feelings?" "Should I try bringing out the truth slowly to ease the pain?" Then a question everyone has faced arises, "Should I not be truthful and tell the person what they want to hear?" Again, here truth lies with preference and choice of the individual.
