Teens can be a difficult group to buy for during the Christmas season. Often as children get older, their wish lists become shorter, and it becomes harder and harder to find the perfect gift for your teen. Video games, however, tend to do well with this age group. With the demand for video games increasing each year, it's no wonder your teen might be into them. While the creativity that makes LittleBigPlanet unique is sure to return in the sequel, there are also many additions to the game's system, especially the level editor and intensity of social interaction with other players. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii): May 23, 2010; Rated E for Everyone

Just in case your teen missed out on the hit that was Super Mario Galaxy 2, the game is going to be a popular title this Christmas. With gorgeous visuals, compelling sound and diverse gameplay, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is sure to satisfy any Mario fan. What's more is no prior experience with the series is required; just grab your Wii Remote and get started. While Super Mario Galaxy 2 is best described as a 3D platformer, the experience of playing the game is unlike any platformer before it. There are puzzles to solve, items to collect, and bosses to defeat, all in a multitude of unique environments for the player to traverse. This title is a must-buy if your teen was a fan of other Mario 3D platformers like Super Mario Sunshine on Gamecube or the original Super Mario Galaxy on Wii, as Mario makes yet another strong return in this installment of the popular series.
