Is it possible to make this world a better place, with violence, wars and poverty rising in some parts of the world? If we all did some simple things for humanity, then I believe we can make this a better place. These simple things do not have to cost money, just some time.
So if you want to make this world a better place, then you can...
Be a fair and just person. Listen to all sides of the story or issue, even if it doesn't agree with your own views. Protest against injustice with your abilities.
Say "Thank you" and "Have a nice day" to store, bank, post office, and other employees. Remember they are human, and they have to deal with all types of customers. By making someone's day at work, chances are they will repeat the same favor to others as well.
Smile to your family, neighbors, and even passerbys. Not only is smiling a simple action, it is contagious. By seeing your smile, people are reminded that this is not a bad world after all.
Volunteer at homeless shelters, hospitals, nursing homes or even day care centers. Share your talents and skills at non profit organizations. Volunteering oftens puts your own life into perspective.
Recycle anything you can. Not only are you helping the environment, but you may earn cash for some recyclables.
Perform a random act of kindness to a total stranger or neighbor. Let it be anonymous. Only you and God know. How satisfying is that?
Remember that we are all one race-the human race. It is our duty to help humanity without forcing our ideas or morales on anyone. We may be of different cultures, ethnicities, or religious backgrounds, yet we are all the same. We have families, homes, wishes and fears. We all dream of a better world
