O Lord of Redeeming grace,
Draw my friend into Your warm embrace,
Remove the pain of the Past,
Help him find victory that will last,
Jesus, Loving Savior,
Break the chains of addictive behavior,
O Lord by Your grace set him free,
In his life the fruits of victory;
O day by day may he find,
Inner strength, serene peace of mind,
May the chains now fall away,
No longer over him hold any sway,
O Lord here in life’s great race,
Now make him a trophy of your grace,
Clothed in his right mind may he be,
From the chains of addiction be free,
Lord, I entrust him to You,
Your redeeming work in him now do
