The list of romantic things to do during a first date is probably miles long. Yet, many people stick to traditional ideas due to the lack of inspiration or the fear that a date will have difficulty enjoying something nontraditional.

The majority of individuals going to a first date limit themselves to a restaurant or a night at the cinema. These two activities are fun and romantic but if you want to surprise your date and come up with something more original, you have dozens of great romantic activities to choose among.

Go to an amusement park
Everybody loves to remember what it felt like being a kid. An amusement park is a great first date venue, which can also help you demonstrate how romantic you are.

Try to win something for your date. Nothing could be more romantic than a person putting effort into obtaining a gift for the person they are with.

Cuddle together while taking a ride on the Ferris wheel. Eat cotton candy and hug. An amusement park is full of romantic opportunities.

Whisper in your date’s ear and dedicate a song to him or her. If the concert is taking place in the open air, dance with each other as if the band is performing just for the two of you.

Take a romantic walk in nature
Taking a walk by a beautiful lake and being surrounded by lush meadows and tall mountain peaks will make both of you feel special.

A walk or a hike can be really romantic if both of you like nature. You can even organize a picnic in a distanced place, offering great panoramic view. The ambiance and your surroundings play major role in making the date romantic.

Go to wine tasting
Instead of visiting a restaurant, try wine tasting.

Wine has long been known as the drink of love. Sharing wine with your date and experiencing the pleasure of tasting great varieties will make the occasion exceptionally romantic.

Numerous cellars and restaurants organize wine tasting. Make sure that your date does enjoy the drink before you schedule anything.

Teach your date something new
If your date has never tried bowling or rollerblading, do exactly that on a first date.
 
Teaching a date something new and exciting is always romantic. You will get to spend time having fun and enjoying each other. You can cuddle and hold your date’s hand while giving instructions about the proper way to skate.

Trying something new will make the date exciting and memorable. Your date will always make a connection between you and the specific activity.

Both of you have no idea how to dance tango but you think that the dance is beautiful.

Take tango lessons together during your first date.

Trying something that is new both for you and your date will be fun and romantic. It will demonstrate your desire to discover new activities together and to do something wild and unexpected.

Unleash your creativity, when thinking about romantic things to do on a first date. It can be very unusual and different from a restaurant or a movie. Putting effort into creating the best date will impress the person you are seeing. Experimenting is fun, do not be afraid of it.
