With tears and anger in our throat, sometimes the best way to scream out our jaded cries is to let it all out on paper. That's because as we pound away our thoughts and bring back the life which we thought was our own, we need to reason with that which was of lust. Unfortunately, our broken heart doesn't know that. So the writing board through which the rollercoasters of emotions unravel out of have to be tended to. There are many ways to which writing can assist you with this process. With that, this article will touch upon the ideas on the different writings that can help you mend a broken heart.
Letters
Some of the best letters were written about love. Throughout history, the heart of the matter became a backdrop to many love lost, love found and love lost again. So while letters can put itself through time and transcend emotions that once were true to something that is now gone, we feel it. This helps us get rid of the redundancy through which we mope around on. After all, letters are an extension of our voice.
With our modern technology, we can take an e-mail, attach pictures and even songs through which we once remembered or loved and make a timeless capsule of them. Now, if you want to really let it all out, having a blog through which you can document your inner turmoil will let the whole world mourn with you. Only this may be too much because who knows, your broken heart might mend itself quicker than you think. So stick to letters for short-term effects.
Poems
Shakespeare may have said a lot and with his works we learned about the pain which came through soliloquies or staged in the undying notion of betrayals. Therefore, the colors of the heart is so vast that sometimes letters can be long-winded to whine on. In that case, poems comprising of short phrases and statements makes more sense. Using bold words, adjectives or even specific verbs, you will find that with a few short breaths, those inner pains may seem like nothing you can't handle.
So give it a shot and see if poems are a great way to let it out. It can be as short or as long as you want it to. Just forget about the mechanics for now and blast away with what you're feeling. Who's going to read it anyway? This is for you to mend that broken heart.
Songs
You may have tried letters and poems and they just aren't working because there's so much more. If you're an artist or musician in particular, here's where you should take a jab at writing your heart out in a song. Make it an original that truly says the words which you feel and not anyone else's. Don't worry about what others will think for now. You're worrying about you. What do you have to say?
Overall, the options through which writing is utilized can take on many forms. When you're mending a broken heart, in particular, you can unleash some of those ways. Just remember that it's not always easy but with a little effort, all that's inside is creatively fused into the art which can surround your writing.
