You were there with me,
Through everything,
Never judging,
Never asking for anything,
Just wanting to be there,
I'll remember you.
You've made my life worth living,
You've given it a meaning,
I wish you were here to see,
The girl that you've made me to be,
I'll forever remember you.
I'll remember,
Your smile,
Your eyes,
Your laugh,
And although I'm beginning to forget,
The sound of your voice...
Your soul remains in my heart forever.
If it's the last thing I do,
With my final breath,
I'll remember you.

Poetry: I'll remember you
by Francis Jock
Apple blossom petals gently fall,
Wistful heart shadow, dream-like call.
I'll remember sweet goodnight kisses
Forever vows
Even though you're gone
I still remember you like it was yesterday
everything is still clear, still so easy to tell

Remembering
I touched your face
stroked your soft hair
felt your powerful shoulders
and held you there.
Happy in the moment

It has gotten so hard to remember your face
Uplifting smile resides in a faraway place
Memories that span both time and space
I will remember you now you have gone
At the funeral when they played your song
Let it, Let be, that I remember you always
