Folie à Deux

(In English, "madness of two.")

 A fated delusion of utmost truth,

   Greyed-out vibrance to unsettle and soothe,

   Shrieking silence grinds tempered and soft,

   On deaf-ears of persons both loved and scoffed. 

The bliss of despair sits face-up, untraced,

    For two hate-filled lovers on queue and ill-paced,

    Because one met (b) and two met (a),

    The madness of two is tossed in to play.

The phi of imbalance is swiftly entwined,

    Emptiness fills revealing emotions defined,

    Selfish meets selfless as eyes meet soul,

    A once chilling paradigm now embers of coal.

Burning beauty feeds where the entropy rests

   A scheduled psychosis overlooked by the tests,

   Chaos yielding structure of magnum proportion,

   An eyes-glazed, lucid perception distortion.

Sociopathic tactics carried with charm,

    The unnerving, comfortable causing of harm,

    When draining empowerments push senses to brink,

    It doubles the proof of the dizzying drink.

The caustic combination warms the body and heart,

    Like sipping straight sunshine as the cosmos blows apart,

    Afflicted by love with ambitions to slay,

    The madness of two is tossed in to play.
