Foot reflexology: all you need to know

Reflexology is a science. It is not considered a massage. It is said that there are area's on your feet, hands and your left ear that correspond with every part of the body. By using your index finger and/or thumb to apply pressure on these parts, helps in circulating the area. I was moving a large mirror when I leaned it against the wall. Not knowing it had cracked, it fell on my foot and sliced it from ankle to ankle. Doctor's wanted to amputate, but I fought hard and threatened to exchange my foot for their license. They burned me shut and sewed me up. No reconnective surgery or x-rays. They told me I would lose the foot within one year. They told me the scar tissue, which was the size of a golf ball, would grow to the size of a grapefruit within one year. It is now the size of a pea. I was 47 years old. It took me one and a half years to be able to move my toes. I did not know about reflexology, but I just started to do it. With my success, I was able to go to school for Massage Therapy and learn that I applied reflexology to myself. If you have never had the pleasure of receiving a treatment, I will tell you it will be painful the first time. If it isn't, you are in perfect health or you did not get a genuine reflexology treatment.
