To His Bride
So far beneath
The realm of heaven
Your daily bread
Had seen no leaven
But God made plans
To set you free
Through labor
And delivery
The spirit’s message
You conceived
You took it in
And you believed
The Light of whom
The prophets wrote
Held in the arms
Of Joseph’s coat*
You journeyed long
Endured the test
Were shunned and taxed
And yes, oppressed
Lay down your shame
Your labor passed
The promised peace
He's come at last
I come to you
From the Land of Ire
With banner high
And heart on fire
To bring glad tidings
Of God’s own Son
The news is out
The victory’s won
The Groom is coming
For his bride
What God has joined
Men can’t divide
The world At One
In peace will see
The Abrahamic
Family
Author notes:
Please read Psalms 37 and 73.
Ire is defined as "wrath, anger, fury". Indignation is wrath caused by injustice, and the Bible speaks of righteous indignation. The world system seems to reward evil while slaughtering the innocent, and as a result, we the people (the wee people) all over the world become a little "Irish".
God Almighty is GOOD! And ain't that Good News? His bride gives birth to One Nation under God with a *coat-of-arms of many colors.
