How personality develops: Different theories

Before delving, into the Theories of Learning and Psychodynamic psychotherapy a short personality analysis needs exploration to ensure the student can learn in the proper area of his or her learning or psychotherapy. Understanding a person’s personality will allow the professionals to place the student into the best learning environment possible allowing the student with a learning problem or without to receive the proper care and those with mental illnesses are put, in which environment he or she belongs in accordance with the program that suits his or her learning needs best. Many important views on how to teach both a mentally ill individual, and how to teach what society has deemed as normal children. This is when instructional design becomes important. Categorization of an assortment of different learning approaches is important (Mergel, 1998).

Comparison of Theories

 Of course, society has more than one view on any and everything that happens in this world. Therefore, theories compared to the Psychodynamic psychotherapy area of concern are to find psychological answers to help those who suffer from emotional suffering. The quality of self- examination and self- reflection will become a part of the relationship between patient and therapist. Therefore, the continuing  difficult relationship patterns will change in the  life of the patient and he or she can begin to control his or her own life (Lewis, 2005). The goal is to improve the majority of evident symptoms of the patients but also to help the patients lead healthier more fulfilling lives. These theories have a large variety of mental illnesses and a varying range of mental disorders, which have physically ailments of the same type like some of these illnesses can. The benefit of the Psychodynamic therapy is a growing treatment as  published by the American Psychological Association (Shedler, 2010) is showing progress not seen in other research efforts.

Learning Theories

Learning theories are traceable as far back as the Greeks in the 18th Century. Although no one had put the idea into a solid theory people of the time begun to realize that by observing is the way he or she would learn. In addition, people began to gain interest in physical science and took notice that they could also could through comparing behaviors.
