FILM ONLY REVIEW
Ian is a senior in high school and he is still a virgin, his elder brother makes him feel bad and so he sets about making arrangements with his online girl to meet up. Ian tells his best friend Lance about the meet and he agrees to go along. Miss Tasty is the girl and she seems very interested in his car. Unfortunately, it is not his car but his elder brother's pride and joy. As his family are gong away for the weekend he sees to opportunity of steeling the car to go on a road trip to meet Miss Tasty.
Ian and Lance are about to set off when their friend Felicia invites herself along. The boys tell her that they are going to see Ian’s sick grandma and she believes them. Felicia s good friends with both boys but she has told Ian that she has a crush on Lance which makes him feel bad as he has feelings for her. The trio set off across country but soon they encounter their first problem.
Will Ian, Lance and Felicia make it to meet Miss Tasty and if so will Ian loose his virginity or will the events which happen on the way make him change his mind?
I really had no idea what this film was about but thought it may be worth a watch as it was on the comedy channel and I needed a good light hearted watch. I was not at all disappointed by this film as once it started I knew it was going to be loosely like the America Pie films with the daft and crude humour. The story was good but nothing new but again this did not bother me as it meant I did not have to use much brain power to watch the film.
The acting was good and the lead role of Ian was played by Josh Zuckerman and he was very good. He was a nice character and an easy one to get to know. I loved the naivety he bought to the role and how he just wanted to get on with his life and finally lose his virginity so he would be able to stop worrying about it. He was slightly bullied by his older brother about being gay but this was a good addition to the story as it did unfold to a good little twist at the end of the film. There was a good chemistry between Ian and the role of Lance and they did genuinely seem close friends. The chemistry between Ian and Felicia was stronger and there was a nice and innocent connection with them both and I enjoyed seeing this develop during the film.
Lance was played by Clark Duke and I could not stop think how much he looked like a young Alan Carr, he ever dressed like him. He was a more confident role and would love to know why the girls and ladies were attracted
