Cheating is defined by the boundaries of a relationship. In one relationship cheating maybe kissing another person, while in another it maybe having sex with another person. The #1 definition at this moment mentions internet porn, which seems ridiculous to some, but others maybe saying, "I agree, right on!" However, some relationships are open, and the people can sleep with whoever they want as long as they stick with their significant other. There are blacks, whites, and grays and it all depends on your mate and his or her comfort level.

My relationships it's generally okay to hug others, to kiss others on the cheek. A peck on the lips is usually okay, but can be pushing it with certain people. Full lip kissing (sucking on the lips, etc.) is definitely not okay, neither is open mouth, nor anything more than that. I am not sure I consider it "cheating" until it gets more sexual, but it definitely would make me uncomfortable and I would not be comfortable with my significant other spending time with that person much anymore.

The trick is to finding someone who shares your beliefs and can hold up to them. Don't try and change a person, find someone who is the person you want, or maybe you need to look inside and see if you're right about you're feeling if no one else seems to agree (and your friends don't count, it's the people you're dating that count). This question can make or break a couple's compatibility.
