Annie is one of the highest-tier characters in the League of Legends when played well, but also manages to be one of the most beginner-friendly characters due to her early game potential and ease of use.
If you're just starting out playing League of Legends, you might choose Annie as your first character to try and learn the ropes with. You might even decide that you want to learn to master using her. This guide will give you what you need to take off on either path.
Annie Essentials
The first thing you need to get to know when it comes to using Annie is her passive, Pyromania. Pyromania allows Annie to stun her opponent on every fifth attack. When Annie is in an “Energized” state, her Pyromania is fully charged, a white aura surrounds her. Her area-of-effect (AOE) stun will unleash the next time you use a spell.
The white aura, however, can also be seen by enemies and will tip them off to your Energized status. This can be a good thing or a bad thing: On the good side, it generally keeps enemies off your back and works as a great “scare tactic.” On the bad side, it does give the enemy fair warning and they will do everything in their power to avoid your stun.

It's also the best ability to use while farming minions because, if Disintegrate deals the final blow, the mana cost is completely refunded to Annie. This makes Disintegrate a powerful finisher for large creeps and cost-effective as well.
Annie's second ability, Incinerate, is a cone-shaped sweep, and is her secondary damage-dealer in early game. While Incinerate can be used to farm minions early on if you have lots of mana regen items, its primary purpose for most Annie players is to charge up Annie's AOE stun while sitting in the well. While sitting in the well, your mana and health both regenerate, so it's natural for an Annie player to use Incinerate a few times inside the well until she's Energized. This cuts down on the need to farm minions for an AOE stun, and brings you out into the battlefield prepared for bloodshed or a hasty retreat.
Annie's third ability, Molten Shield, is probably her least notable for beginner players. It increases Annie's
