Poetry: Without love

by Toadee

Created on: August 25, 2010

I lived, once, in a vibrant place

a vivid rainbow of delight

then, I met you

together we walked a narrow cinder path

tearing our soles

painting our shared life in monochrome

You are my eclipse

my shrivelled blossom

you, the nightmare I fear

for you I would sink to the bottom of the deepest ocean

in your name I would leap from the highest mountain

My cloud

my pain

my labour of sisyphus
