What exactly do you take to college with you? A check list of things that you are going to need at college might help you to decide what to pack. Otherwise you could easily find yourself forgetting to bring a few items that you are definitely going to need once you are away.

The following are a few of the oh so important things that you might forget if not reminded to bring them, so entitle your list "What to bring to College", and place these items at the top of your list so you don't accidentally leave them behind.

We all have our favorite PERSONAL CARE ITEMS and these are very high on the list of things that you do not want to leave at home. Your hairbrush, comb, toothbrush, dental floss, nail clippers, eyebrow tweezers, sewing kit, medical kit, shampoo, conditioner, make-up and other personal care products can be very expensive to replace if they are forgotten. As these items are kept out, and used right up to the day that you leave, they are also some of the most easily forgotten items. Set aside a small bag to package these in and insure that they find their way into it.

Other absolutes that you will be needing are your HOUSE WARE ITEMS. You will require at least two bath towels, two facecloths, 2 sets of sheets and pillowcases, blankets, 2 tea towels, 2 dishcloths, broom, dustpan, small vacuum, extension cord, as well as a dish set, and silverware for yourself.

You will need a SUITABLE SELECTION OF CLOTHING for use during your time at College. This does not mean just bringing your favorite articles of clothing, it means taking a selection of clothing which can accommodate your needs in virtually every situation. Casual clothing, dress clothing, warm weather clothing, rainy weather clothing, and brrrr icy cold weather clothing. You will probably encounter all of these settings while you are away at college and having to repurchase these items can be very expensive. Make sure you take a suitable range of clothing, and shoes, with you. Also remember to take a swim suit with you, this is one of the most likely to be forgotten articles of clothing, and you really may want to take a nice relaxing dip with friends while you are away.

Your COMPUTER and COMPUTER ACCESSORIES are very important for research and typing out reports. So don't forget to take your computer, printer, and computer paper with you to college. Keep in mind that laptops and notebook computers are much lighter, and easier to pack than a desk top, and they take up much less space in the dorm
