Poppy, I love you
Sweet like an angel
Ecstasy in your embrace
Inhale your fragrance
And forget the world.
Cold reality hits me again
Only a trace, a trace of you
Remains in the air around me
Until I find you again
Running through the street
Following your footsteps
Sweating through the icy air
Hunting for my warmth
Poppy, I need you
My eyes bleed from crying
I only see grey all around me
But you are the ruby sun
Technicolour paradise
Or the noir reality?
Please, please, my darling
Come back to me
