Smile She's Here
It was four am the clocks chimes
sounds of whispers swooning
around the room as if to say
wake up , wake up, the sun is up
with a yawn and stretch its time to rise
happy to greet this beautiful morn
with a smile
For there she was
in all her glory,
her face as radiant as ever
glowing
as she takes a peek from behind the clouds
strands of light reaching,
as if her outstretched arms
are embracing the world
on this brand new day.
It's time's like this we sigh with relieve,
sheer joy of being alive
seeing,
sharing,
the delights this world has to offer.
