Green caterpillars
I watched while caterpillars ate,
my sprout leaves soaking up the sun,
and thought I'd better move a few,
a job I wish I'd not begun.
I read that some may cause a rash,
so grabbed my gloves, to lift them up,
and place them on another leaf,
inside my broken drinking cup.
But they were having none of that,
and headed back to leaf and sun,
so while I fought I plucked as well.
A job I wish I'd not begun.
But anyway the leaves are free,
til more grow to a size to see.

A Christmas tree
Decorated with twinkling
