Although there is some information on the internet about lead poisoning in children, very little is written about any other metals or about metal toxicity in adults. Traditional physicians don't often test for it in adults who have not worked in factory settings or in the automotive industry, however it is becoming more and more apparent in men and women who are not able to pinpoint a specific source. If you believe there is any chance you may have heavy metal poisoning, consult a naturopath or other health care provider and ask that they send a hair sample to a laboratory for a mineral analysis. You owe yourself the opportunity to at least rule out a possibility.
