Please, Lord, please.
Watch over my precious baby.
As sick as she may be,
This is my Mother's Plea.
My child is my life's key,
And my husband is no where to be seen.
Please, Lord, please,
Hear my mournful plea.
Take care of my daughter,
No matter how bad the doctors say it will be.

Poetry: A mother's plea
Some mothers plea
To their God
To their children
For profound things
For holy things
In anguish
I have had my turn
At that
Please, Lord, please.
Watch over my precious baby.
As sick as she may be,
This is my Mother's Plea.
My child is my life's
Water peppering down
Sleep-deprive eyes
To wither cheeks
