We have to be careful who we label as best friends.

As young kids we never think our best friends will betray us, but as we get older we see things very differently. We meet a lot of people in life but only a few of those people get the title of best friend. Best friends turn less into friends and more like family in many cases, we sometimes don’t think our friends will change or betray us. A Lot of the time the reason for the end of friendships are because the person has changed and has somehow betrayed you. Many cases it’s hard to get over what they have done because you never imagined it would of happen.

Many believe friends are for the moment, they are there in your life to teach you something about life and have a little fun and move on. Some friends take on the title best friend because of the things you have in common in life or you have a lot of similarities character wise. So you spend more time together getting to know more about each other and even sharing secrets. Best friends look out for each other and even have the occasional argument just like family.

Sometimes friendships don’t work out because we think we know everything about our best friends when we actually don’t. A lot of time we only know what our friends allow us to know about them that’s why we never see it coming when they the betray us. This teaches us to be careful who we label as best friends. There are people out here that is only out for them, and only appear to care about us. There are also cases were best friends betray us but we can’t let go the friendship because we love them and we think we can somehow get over the betrayal. In these cases some people don’t get over the betrayal and resent their best friend for the longest times or even look for revenge.

A best friend is someone that is loyal to you and won’t hurt you intentional. Being a victim of a best friend betrayal can change how you look at people. There are people out here that would make ideal best friends but you would never give them a chance as long as you are hurt from the last fest friend’s betrayal. Be very careful in who you label as a best friend unless you know their intentions.
