Poetry: I hurt

~I hurt~

I am hurt,
I lied,
I need you now,
Not later,
I hope you understand why,
I feel this way,
you should know,
You said it yourself,
Do you want me anymore?
It's hard to tell sometimes,
Some days I just want to run away from life, or family,
And end up in your arms,
I love you too much to let you go,
it hurts to think of us, as just strangers,
I'm so cold, here all alone,
Can anyone hear me, my voice, my actions?
Will anyone EVER be able to hear me?
Will I ever be noticed again?
I feel as if i'm living in a dead world, Alone.
The sun may come up and kill me, leaving me, nothing but ash,
But that's alright, we can give this another try. We'll be alright.
These voices in my head, telling me what to do, what would be better for them to not make me go insane (as if I'm not already).
As I disregard those who whish to speak for me, I walk to you,
Outstretch my arms, and embrace you in a hug,
filled with the trust and forgiveness of my heart.
