The word natural defines what comes of nature. As far as homosexuality is concerned natural here describes the animal like qualities of every person. It should come as a disappointment that even religious advocates are not above the nature of biology. Simply put, they have sexual desires too.

The most nature nonconforming behaviors displayed in the entire animal world come from humans. Humans are subject to more strange actions than any other animal. Take deodorant for example. The purpose of any antiperspirant is to mask our natural odor. Odors in which are usually used to attract mates. Not to mention the use of clothing to hide our naked bodies. Humans try so hard to disguise the animal in them that the worse offenses seem to occur in the name of stopping sin and the unpreventable path to hell.

Animals seem completely free of such irrational fears. A dog will hump anything male or female, dog or human. This by human standards means the dog participates in both bestiality and bi curious behaviors. By dog standards it means the dog got horny and decided to hump something. You can't really ban a dog to hell because they don't have souls. So in order to deter the dog from participating in such absurd behavior we tell him to knock it off. The term for multiple offenders of humping is horn dog. They do not even go to jail.

If people were to just view sexuality as a inevitability they would quickly stop protesting and stop wasting their time yelling at each other over pointless arguments. A scientist could research all day the biology or sociology of homosexuality. In the end there is not a stop to the fact that some people will be having sex with the same sex or the opposite sex. People have sexual desires unless your a nun or asexual. This can be considered natural as well. But not necessarily normal by definition. 

Because sexuality is natural that doesn't mean it is normal for a person to have same sex relations . Normal and natural are used sometimes interchangeably which causes much confusion to the main questions of the sexuality debates. If a source says an attraction to the same sex is normal they really mean to say it is natural. Same sex attraction is rare and therefore not normal by default of denotation verses connotation.

What makes same sex attraction sinful is the human discovery of language. Without language humans would not have to worry about such petty things as denotation and connotation. Without language one would not have to understand the point of this article. But seen it is being written it must tell that same sex attraction within ones mind has become associated with evil and sinful desires. As that view point changes so do the definitions of the words. Sin now seems to many religious groups, who have the idea they can bridge the gap between religion and sexuality issues, less shameful. As one should not be ashamed of natural desires given to them by the Lord of God.

Homosexuality can be seen as both sinful and natural. But looking at homosexuality with the philosophical definition of natural, one finds same sex attraction is no less normal a dog humping your leg.
