I wish things were different,
That you were not you
And I were not I.
Our alter egos merged,
Free to fly,
Soaring in the sun
Without danger of burning.
Passionate friends,
Sensual comrades,
Untrapped by convention.
Liquid spirit,
Flowing on the wind.
