Personal goals often fail if they lack commitment; they are against divine justice and based on self gratification, manipulative practices, greed and unbalanced lifestyles. These goals may succeed initially but only for a short duration. When personal goals are moving against the flow of life, it need extra efforts to make it succeed. Such personal goals face obstruction from own inner-self, other people and nature; they are bound to fail in the long run.
Each person has number of aspirations from life. At times, focus is on so many things, like wealth, professional growth, ideal relation, leisure, good health and love. We often find ourselves not accomplishing all that we aimed for. Some of the personal goals are mutually contradictory to accomplish. They set their goals based on need and capabilities. They feel committed to make it a success. However, there are people who aims for higher level of possessions and in the process feel dismayed when these aspirations are not fulfilled. This is the reason for personal goals to fail.
