Keeping fit despite your age

Health is wealth. Without good health, one cannot do anything in life. This is why every person need to keep fit. keeping fit can be practiced in many ways such as performing regular physical exercises and eating a balanced diet everyday. However, it is saddening that today, many people are unable to enjoy sound health because they rarely keep fit or because they neglect their physical condition.

Initially, many people tend to neglect healthy eating habits. Those include three meals a day, with the first being breakfast in the morning, lunch at noon and dinner in the evening. Normally, breakfast should be the heaviest one because it provides us with energy for the whole journey. However, many people tend to skip it or take it lightly because they are in a hurry in the morning to go to work or school. Furthermore, unhealthy foods such as snacks, oily foods, fizzy drinks and pastries should be avoided but those are what people like the most. Instead, those should be replaced by fruits, vegetables and water.

The lack of regular physical exercises is also a major problem among most people. This can lead to many diseases such as obesity and cardiovascular diseases. Many people rarely do physical exercises because of the new technologies such as Internet and television. To be in good health, we need to exercise at least three times per week, with each session being about twenty minutes. Sports like cycling. swimming, jogging are a necessity if we want to be in good health.

One of the most significant problem to sound health are vices. Vices include smoking, boozing and taking drugs and when someone start taking those, it will be very difficult for that person to stop. Furthermore, taking only one of those things will reduce ones lifetime drastically. It is sure to lead to many diseases if taken for a long period of time. Death will be very painful for that person taking those things. 

Bad sleeping habits can also deteriorate one's health. Sleeping is a vital thing to be fit but some people take it lightly. They go to sleep very late and wake up in the morning early to go to work. This may be due to too much work and bad habits like watching television late at night. When we don't sleep well, our brain cells start to die little by little during the day. If we keep losing sleep hours, then this may be fatal to the brain. This will therefore result in a sleep debt and cause fatigue, weakness, problem of memorization and so on.
