Watching through innocent eyes,
I witness fervent rage.
Every whisper amplified,
Pain and fear engage.
Entangled souls, once in love.
Now twisted into hate.
Fear not what the end shall bring,
Yet, the wayward, unknown fate.

and speaks not a word
of the person within
Race is what happens
on the playground
The Ocean In Her Eyes
when I stand
where Earth meets Sky,
waves reaching the shore
to tickle my toes
