Is there ever an easy way to say goodbye?
Maybe it's better to say nothing and flee,
Or steal away quietly on the tide.
Where's the good in bye?
Good you're going?
Good it's over?
Good riddance!
What?
Or is it that good remains?
A person's stamp on you
As fossils in rock.
Impermeable
An etching of your place together in time.
