We as mothers CAN NOT be concerned that the sperm donors do not want to have contact with their off spring. We as mothers have to learn to teach our children to be their own persons and to surround them with positive male (and female) influences so the missing sperm donor will not be missed as much.
We as a community need to learn and then practice that if we are to have children that its our responsibility to raise and nurture our children regardless of the biological father's involvement. There are too many choices that we as women have in this day and age that having a child with someone who will not help in his or her care is just irresponsible on our part.
The choice to have a child is yours, whether the father will ever be a part of their life or not. All we as mothers can do is raise our children to be loving, caring people who will be a contributing members of society and who will not repeat the same irresponsible things that their parents do.
Biological fathers should NOT be more responsible for their children. More importantly biological fathers who do not want to be apart of the children's lives should not be allowed to have more children and should be left alone to live out lonely, loveless life.
