Fast weight loss is what everyone would like to achieve. Unfortunately the type of diets and fitness plans people go on are usually extremely unhealthy and unrealistic to stick to in the long run. Usually they last a week or two before you go back to your normal eating habits making the weight you’ve lost quickly pile back on. This type of yo-yoing is disruptive to your well-being and will only result in health problems and difficulties with losing weight in the future.
The fastest way to lose weight is to change your lifestyle. It’s also one of the hardest things to do and you probably won’t be able to change everything at once. Start by changing one bad habit and taking on a good every week or two. Stop smoking, eliminate the regular drinking nights from your week, stay away from the fast food hangouts and forget about buying microwave meals. Clear out your pantry getting rid of any sweets, biscuits or cakes. You don’t need them and neither does your waistline. These type of drastic measures will lead to losing weight quickly. Change the amount you eat too. Filling up the plate and going for seconds and thirds regardless of what you eat is going prevent you from losing weight. Use a side plate rather than a dinner plate and eat six to eight small meals throughout the day.
Exercise will speed up your metabolism which in turn will also help you lose weight a lot quicker than if you don’t do any exercise. Any exercise won’t do. You have to exercise hard a few times a week to see changes in your weight. Try interval training where you work out for periods of time at 90% your maximum heart rate with short periods of low intensity in between. This type of workout will mean less time spent on fitness with larger and faster results. Other than that it’s important to include about sixty minutes of exercise every day.
The combination of diet and exercise, as well as eliminating bad habits like smoking and drinking, will be the fastest way to lose weight. Without these things it’s impossible to reduce calories, speed up your metabolism and reach your ideal body weight. There’s no faster or healthier way to lose weight. Diet and exercise are the only effective way that will give you the results you desire without risking your well-being.
