Solitude, is that you, again?
I thought for sure I left you for dead as I stepped across your shadow that last time you surprised me
No matter. Truth be told: you deserve a far worse fate than eternal rest.
What better destiny for that cold heart of yours than to spend your time in company with the likes of me?
The misery you will receive when you try to leach warmth from my embrace is my vindication.
If I have no kindred spirit, you will not pry from me what had been stored up for that being.
Your continued existence will not come at my expense; for you see, I’ve nothing left to spend.
