If you have time and are interested in writing for sites online there are lots of sites to choose from.
ne of the most popular writing sites is Helium.com. The pluses to working with this site are that the site is well organised, well laid out and easy to use and navigate. It has a lot to offer, as you can read and rate articles as well as write them, you can sell articles, enter competitions and chat in the forum. It is totally up to you whether you wish to just dip into it now and then for half an hour or spend a great deal of time and immerse yourself in it's World. IF money is the main issue then it is best to concentrate on titles that are very popular and are read more, as you get paid according to how many read the article. Avoid articles that already have a lot of articles under that topic as you may end up not being read much, if at all. You can also boost your earnings by filling an empty title slot and boost it more by suggesting titles. Other popular writing sites that you can get paid for include..
Triond.com. The advantages to Triond are that you choose your own titles and are not competing against others. However, this does mean that when you look at the articles that have been written many of them are on subjects that are of no interest to you or most people and only of interest to the writer. You earn according to how many people read your article and you can boost earnings by connecting to Google ads. There is a forum but this site does not offer as much as Helium.com.
A popular writing site for those looking to earn is Squidoo.com. It's main advantage is that you rise up in the ranks, starting at the bottom - of course - so if your article becomes very popular a lot of people read it. In my opinion it is not laid out as well, or as inviting as Helium or Triond but it is worth adding to your list of sites to use if you are looking for a handful rather than just one or two.
Other popular writing sites are Associated Content, Bukisa, Articles Base, Constant Content, Break Studios, Seed and Factoidz. Which sites you choose depend very much on whether you simply wish to write articles or get involved in the whole site, whether you prefer to choose your own titles or write under an already existing one.
