As the light of the sun goes down down down
The moon shines and the stars surround
In my pajamas and ready for bed
With my blanket and pillow I lay down my head
Holding my teddy with tired eyes
I hear the crickets and frogs outside
With "ribbits" and chirps they say goodnight
Out under the stars and soft moonlight
Because Jesus loves me I have no fear
He and my family are always near
Mommy and daddy who give me love
Lots of kisses and many hugs
My grandmother and grandpa too
They all love me, yes they do
I'll close my eyes without a peep
With angels singing me to sleep
