Dear General Public,
You think mermaids don't exist? I can't say I blame you. It's not like we've ever met face-to-face. That's right, I'm a mermaid, pure and simple.
Impossible you may say. Let me try to explain. You see, I live in the sea, eat shellfish, shrimp, and small fish, and play mermaid games like 'pin the fin on the mermaid'. But just because I do all this, doesn't mean I don't have the most current technology. Do you know they have designed water-proof computers? I use solar cells to charge its batteries and the wi-fi goes through water as easy as air.
Aside from writing my opinions and articles here on Helium, I also use the web to promote my pro-mermaid rights movement, or PRM for short. Look it up. We stand for mermaid harbors, research, and education. There are so many rumors and half-truths out there about mermaids, I figured it only right to stand up and spread the right information about our race.
So here I am, writing to you. Please google our rights movement. We are just as human as you, bleed the same blood, cry the same tears, and share the same human knowledge. Do the right thing, join PRM.
Thank you for your support,
Ian Waterstone
