What a journey we have shared
The roughest one for any pair
Resenting you mom for over half my life
Blaming you for the hurt and strife
I griped and complained so bitterly
About how you had treated me
My early years - when mothers should care
You gave me cruelty instead, to bear
Yet, while justified in the above
I determined I would love
Forgiving your cruelties to me
Having no idea what joy I'd see
Once you sensed that I forgave
A brand new mother you slowly became
As you aged we became so close
You mother ... became a rose
As I looked into your eyes
Those weeks I watched you slowly die
These final moments of love we shared
Were ours because forgiveness repaired
The past erased - that awful start
Making it hard to see you depart
I'm so glad I chose to love
It changed the future, redeeming so much
And I understand now, you were hurt too
You needed the love I gave to you
My decision to love and to forgive
For both of us, a precious gift
One single choice to forgive and love
Brought many years of goodness to us
Now I miss you so much - I cry
See you in Heaven mom! Goodbye

Your tongue, the dagger that cut out my heart.
So many lies; soon truth became fiction and made me the villain
Sad Goodbye
Its a sad goodbye that I never got to say
A sad goodbye I had to say after you went away
I knew you were still

Her eyes are red and puffy
