"I can't call you my little boy anymore," my Dad says, his voice strained. I know he's trying to hold back his tears. "You are a man now and I'm proud of you. "
"Thanks, Dad," I reply as I button up the top button on my tuxedo. "Do you have any advice for me?"
"Well," my Dad starts, putting a hand to his chin. He chuckles, "Let me pass on two words to you that have saved my marriage multiple times. I'm sorry."
I laugh. "Thanks, Dad. I'll remember that". I walk down the aisle and take my place beside the priest and my best man.
"You ready? We can go out the back door if you want," my best man Jake.
"Thanks, but I'm ready".

I could not imagine a better reason to leave my parents' house than Liza.
"I do."
"I do."
