Lowering blood pressure without medication

Eat Garlic...raw garlic is best. In fact garlic is used in blood pressure medicine.

USE less salt or use a salt substitute. Once you cut the salt, you will notice how salty prepared food really is.

Exercise....this is a key ingredient in lowering blood pressure.

Yoga....has been shown to lower blood pressure.

Meditation...allows the person to relax.

A fish tank is also beneficial. There is something about the movement of fish and th ewater that helps with high blood pressure.

Understand the cause. Systolic and diastolic pressure is different. While stress may be responsible for a high systolic number, actual heart disease usually causes the diastolic numer to be high. If stress is causing your blood pressure to rise, then find th ecause and change your life style. If there is a heart or blood vessel problem then it may require a doctor's expertise to correct it.
