In Loving Memorey of My Dog Zac
Saddest news I share today
my friend, my confident
has gone away
one moment jumping up for joy
next he's laying silently by.
My friend , my pal
my long lost pet
has left behind much regret
a gapeing chasm void of feelings
hearts in desperate need of healing.
Remembering tunes he howled and bellowed
in life
he was a funny fellow
in fancydress he played along
with throat erect
he sung his song.
So long farewell
my handsome fellow
goodbye for now my little devil
simply
missing you.

Poetry: A dog's death
by Erin Yorke
I just want to thank you
For scratches and walks,
For bed, bones, and play,
Now at last I can talk.
If there is a heaven
Death of a Rottweiler.
You came into my life-
fearful and starving.

shrinking from my touch.
Returning to bury our dog who had died after a seizure
Pete opened the boot of the car to show me where he lay,
a
My four legged companion
Every morning when I rose
You greeted me with your cold, cold nose
You looked at me with those
Cabin in the White Mountains
Driving up the White Mountains
you, me and Oggi
(may her ashes rest in peace)
from the hangover
