Writing articles online
Writing articles for websites such as Helium, HubPages and Squidoo will earn passive income through ad residuals as well as some upfront payments. Do not expect to see a lot of income in the beginning of this venture, but if you are a prolific writer you can earn decent money after you’ve accumulated a significant amount of articles. The good news is that all you need to write for these websites is something valuable to say and good grammar, so don’t be intimidated if you don’t have a journalist degree.
Blogging
Anyone can blog, but the competition is stiff. You’ll need to develop your own unique writing style in order to stand out from the rest. You can use your blog to earn money with Google Adsense, Amazon Associates and other affiliate programs. However, many would be bloggers don’t realize that a blog is not something to enter into blindly. In order to succeed it is wise to research and learn about such things as search engine optimization and article promoting, things which are crucial to a blog’s success.
Ebooks
Most web surfers are looking for information. If you have it, you are in a position to charge for it. Just a few years ago, ebooks were the laughing stock of the publishing world. Now they are a worthy rival to traditional publishers. Ebook sales are currently soaring, but again, you’ll have to write a quality book in order not to get lost in a sea of competitors.
Selling another company’s product on your own website is a good way to earn passive income. Maximize your income by selling products that have some correlation to your website. For example, if you are blogging about local artist, sell art supplies. This requires spending some time analyzing the people who are making up your website’s traffic. Rest assured, it’s worth the effort. There is a reason companies spend billions of dollars on targeted marketing each year. It works!
Remember, building a lucrative stream of passive income takes more than a day, Be diligent and eventually you will succeed.
