Those who have lived on the dark side know that Satan is real.The dark side is a state of being that is firmly entrenched in sin and delights in division, chaos and evil. Satan has many names: Abaddon, Apollyon, accuser, liar, murderer, Beelzebub, devil, dragon, evil one, tempter, Lucifer, ruler of demons, enemy, adversary, ruler of this world, serpent of old, prince of the power of the air, prince of darkness.

Satan is a fallen archangel and supernatural spirit. Ezekiel the prophet describes Satan. "You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering: the sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you;you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you."

The Apostle Paul notes, "For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light."

Isaiah the prophet describes the fall of Lucifer."How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit."

Evil can be found everywhere in the world including schools, churches and music. Some can sense evil in places, situations or other people. An evil presence can be interpreted as a heaviness in the air that mixes with closeness and coldness such as in a place of evil. An evil person will tempt another to partake in sin. An evil person is untruthful.

Some purposely choose not to live on the dark side preferring the middle of the road, not too close to the light and not too close to the darkness. They may or may not believe in God or Satan. Never venturing to the light or to the darkness, they feel safe in the middle of mediocrity. They don't realize that the middle of the road is victory for Satan. Jesus tells us in the book of Revelation, "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor
