Home alone for the week, the teenage girl sat in the dark living room watching a movie. All of a sudden the room lit up as though illuminated by a spotlight from outside. After muting the sound, she got up and walked over to the window to see what was going on. There was nothing immediately obvious except that the light was coming from above.
Looking up above the willow tree in the front yard she saw what could only be described as an enormous flying saucer. It was round in shape, with a flat bottom, and was illuminated all the way around by brilliant white light coming out from a row of windows all the way around the sides. The truly amazing thing was that there was absolutely no noise of any kind coming from the craft.
After a few moments spent paralyzed in fear, she dropped to the floor to be out of the line of sight, then crawled behind the couch. After what felt like an eternity, the room darkened again. She waited several minutes before emerging from her hiding place to look out the window once more. The lights were gone and it seemed that the UFO was gone.
Just as she sighed a breath of relief she caught a movement out of the corner of her eye. All she could make out was a thin figure with yellow glowing eyes moving toward her. Before she could even scream, the being was right in front of her. Once more, the brilliant lights lit up the room and she was able to see that this was no normal person in front of her.
Gray hands reached out for her, just as she lost consciousness. She awoke the next morning with memories of the bright lights, a hard metal table, and what looked like hospital machines around her. Remembering that her parents were due home this afternoon, she decided that it had to have been a dream and rushed to clean the house up.
After a while, the front door opened and her mother stood in the foyer. Before she could even ask how their weekend was, her mother screamed. In the mirror on the wall she saw herself and was struck speechless by the yellow glowing eyes looking back at her.
