Whether you are an avid player of video games or someone who plays from time to time Videogamer.com is a definite website you'll want to frequent. This site has something for every player from the latest game trailers to strategy guides. As with any game related website this site is flashy and contains numerous links and images. It may be a little hard to focus when you first go to the homepage, but you can quickly find exactly what you are looking for.

One of the most popular sections of the page is the "Community" section. This part contains forums where gamers can post questions, discuss games, or even let others know about game related bargains on the internet. You will need to register to be able to post to the community forums and of course there are rules and regulations so that posts are not offensive to or spamming other forum members.

The site also contains a "Videos" section where games can see previews of upcoming game releases for all platforms. Many of these videos are also high definition so they may take a few minutes to load. You can also search for videos of older games or new releases using the search feature.

Each gaming platform including Xbox, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP, and iPhone have their own section on the site. This allows users to view games and information specific to each platform. Under the specific platform users can see the latest game releases, screen shots, videos, and also game related news links. There are good reviews for various games that will allow users to help decide to purchase games in the future or not. Games are not always released for every platform so this helps users see what is available on their platform or console.

Videogamer.com also has a downloads section where users can download demos to their PC of both old and new video game releases. This allows anyone to try out a game before actually purchasing and saving money for the games that you want.

One of the most used sections though is the "Cheats and FAQs" area which is found off of the homepage. Here you can search for a specific game or view games alphabetically and then get tips, hints, and strategies for that game. This is very useful for some of the harder games and allows users to get past difficult sections in a game.

No matter what type of information you are looking for this site has it all. Although it is a little flashy with the colors, photos, and ads it is what is to be expected from a video game website. Most gamers are looking for this in a game, so why not look for the same in a video game related website.
